Frank leavesFriday.The glance does not.

He has been the plant electrician for 37 years. He knows a dying machine by the sound. The manual stays. Frank does not. Kageform records how he actually works — then talks to the new hire on Monday like he is still standing there.

01//Why it matters

Old experts leave.New people don't get their instincts.

Factories, hospitals, and job sites are losing the people who just "know." Five veterans leave for every two who start. By 2030 that is about 2.1 million empty skilled jobs in the United States.

You can film Frank. You can make him write a wiki. Neither one captures the second he stops and says "that's the wrong hum." That second is the job. When Frank is gone, the plant pays for the mistake the new person cannot yet hear.

AI tools made this worse. They took the easy junior work that used to teach people. The teachers are retiring. Nobody is catching what they know.

A controls technician takes 18 months and six figures to replace. The wiki is still there. The person who could hear a dying VFD is not.

02//How it works

Not a chatbot. A copy of one person’s eye.

Record the expert on a live job. Cut the moments they notice. Store those as a private relic. Play them back beside the new hire.

    Record

Head camera on the expert. Two shifts.

They wear a camera. Optional eye tracker. A thumb button for “I just noticed that.” We keep the video, where they looked, and what they said, in time.

    Save

Cut those moments into a private relic.

Each tap becomes a notice: this scene, this spot, this judgment. Stored only for that person and that shop. Not mixed into a public model.

    Coach

    The new hire’s camera, live.

We match what they see to Frank’s notices and speak a short line. It does not turn the wrench. It talks like the missing person.

The loop//How the product actually runs

  1. 01Capture

Head-mounted camera on the expert. Optional eye tracker. A button they tap when they notice something. We store one timeline: picture, gaze, and their spoken line.

  2. 02Cut

Software finds the taps, the long stares, the stops. A reviewer writes the judgment in one or two sentences — what they saw, what it means, what to do. That is a notice.

  3. 03Relic

Notices live in a private index for that one person. When the new hire’s camera sees a similar panel, we pull the closest notices. A language model may only use those notices to form a line. The shop owns the index. It is not training data for anyone else.

  4. 04Coach

Phone or glasses. A mark on the image. A short spoken line. Same job Frank used to do with his mouth, minus Frank.

This website is step 4. The marks on Frank are notices we already wrote from real trade knowledge. The box asks a language model to speak as Frank, using only those notices. The camera rig and the private index are the company. This page is so you can feel the coach.

03//The case

The shop pays.The relic stays.

A controls technician is six figures and eighteen months to replace. Two shifts of Frank cost less than one week of that line down. We sell the missing person on Monday — not a license to a language model.

The gap is 5 veterans out for every 2 who start. By 2030 that is 2.1 million empty seats and about a trillion in lost output. AI took the easy junior work that used to teach. The teachers are leaving. This is the year you still have them on camera.

  1. 01//Who pays

The plant. Training lead or GM. Not a consumer. Not a chatbot seat.

  2. 02//The unit

One expert. Two shifts. A private relic the shop owns. Annual after the pilot.

  3. 03//The moat

The index is theirs. We do not train a public model. Recapture means recapturing Frank — and Frank already left.

  4. 04//The ask

Eight founder-led shops this year. Capital when the floor is paying. Not before.

Why a partner cares

Labor shortage is not software until someone owns the glance.

We own the private index for that one person in that one shop. Five lineages are open: power, rotating, airworthiness, trauma, timber. Same loop. The floor is the TAM.

04//Try it

You are the new hire. Ask Frank.

This is the coach. The marks are notices already cut from Frank’s (fictional) shifts. Type a question as if he is still at your shoulder.
